outlawz progressive challenge June 2015

good afternoon from me, a quick one here as I reeeally should be somewhere else, doing something boring like housework!

I made this poignant poppy card using MME and Crate papers,

Stampin' up cardstock and some random gems from my stash
I also added some texture, with some chunky rustic ribbon,

Layers- That Craft place challenge blog

Hi there! and happy solstice !
It is time for another card challenge at that craft place challenge blog, the theme this time around is 'layers' so I have layered it up :D

My card is made using one of the gorgeous new Button box fairies from the That Craft Place Etsy shop, available in digital stamp format.
she is called 'MIXIE' and is ever so cute, perfect for a bright card!
I teamed her with one of the sentiments from the fairy Betty Set - which is available at that craft place shop in clear stamp format (and includes fairy Betty image, sentiments and extras) !

I coloured her using Copics, from TCP
and teamed her with papers from my stash,
ribbon also from TCP in a gorgeous floral print
the buttons too are from TCP and I have a big jar of various colours that I love to use on my projects.
I love hunting through to find the perfect ones for my card, but often get sidetracked amongst all the pretties!

Anyhow, it is a full two weeks since the last slinky creation, so it it is time for me to show you another!

this week I have used 'dreaming' which is an absolutely gorgeous more whimsical image, to decorate an A5 notebook !

You can find the Slinky Tart blog HERE
and the payhip store HERE

I coloured dreaming with Copics -

A warning to messy children everywhere....

Hi there,I'm popping in today, to show you a little hybrid make of mine... Sue helped me a little as I'm not very Craft artist Savvy.. so thank you Sue!

the story behind this is that I HATE cleaning house with a passion... and I fall out with my hoover a lot. it eats stuff.

I also have two very messy children who also hate to clean house.

therefore I asked Rick for a demon hoover.. and he obliged (thanks Rick!)
you can find him hanging out in Rick's Zibbet store , when he isn't eating people's mess and clutter...

so let this be a warning to my kids.. or any other messy ones... the demon hoover will eat your stuff if you leave it out.. and he will enjoy doing so!

twinkle twinkle little bat....

Hi there, and a very grotty and poorly  Rachel with you here today.. sorry if the post is a little shorter than usual, i'm currently trying to recover from a nasty tooth abscess, and then my daughter gave me a virulent case of the snots too! You may have seen my 'mr Tea' board book spread, and now I am hopping back to page one and two to show you 'twinkle twinkle'  who I begged Rick to draw.. he did a fantastic job as always and I see me using twinkle for lots of other things too!

Hope you are all well and have a good day!

part two of the Rick St Dennis Progressive challenge!

Progressive challenge part 2

Hi there and welcome to the second part of this month's progressive challenge on the rick st dennis sparkle and glitter blog!
if you played along with the first part of this challenge, you will recieve the digi 'mr tea' which comes with or without sentiments !

I used the version without sentiment to create this spread in an altered childrens board book- following (vaguely) Bonnie's tutorial that I pleaded with her to do.

To make this page I used

160 gsm super smooth paper
copics
black and white gesso
faber castell gelatos
CE texture paste
(all available from that craft place shop)

paisley stamps from smoochie manoochie

and some stencils

there will be more to follow later in the month!
