May Progressive at the outlawz

I've got my entry in by the skin of my teeth this time round... for some reason I found this one a hard one to do... probably because i'm not a big christmas nut, so it's a bit early for me to be doing christmas cards!

the image is supplied by ppinky dolls for the challenge.

the image is coloured with copics
papers are MME
sentiment is bo bunny

CARD SALE!

I don't usually post so much about selling- to be honest I've always been more of a creator and not so good at selling my cards! but needs must, or this girl can't craft....
now at the moment, I have my shelves FULL of cards- there are over 100 sat there waiting for new homes... so I decided to have a spring clean, and offer 50% off all cards over on my Gotshop !

currently I have only set up postage rates for within the UK but if any of you by any slim chance see anything you'd just love to give a home to, and are outside of the UK - just leave me a comment, or send me a message, and I will happily work out a quote for you!
thank you all for looking!

Miss Hatter

Hi there everyone! you may have realised i'm on a bit of a wonderland kick right now!
so what better to add to the collection but the wonderful 'Miss Hatter' from Rick's Zibbet store?

I coloured her using copics, and hand stamped the background, before adding colour with Brushos...
I then hand doodled on top of that, and hand wrote and cut the sentiment, which I then inked with seedless preserves distress inks

I hope you like her!

TAG! at that craft place challenge blog

Hi everyone! it's time for another challenge at that craft place, on the that craft place challenge blog
and the theme this time round is 'tag' ...

so I was really out my comfort zone, as tags are not something I often do...

I used lots of goodies from That Craft place (naturally) to make this card, and a few things from my stash...
the lovely organza ruched trim, pink BIG ric rac, and blue flower trim are all from TCP..
as is the self adhesive  pearl squiggle- this was part of a larger piece and I have had so much use out of it by cutting little bits off!

I also used papermania  oyster blush and prima papers that are stocked at TCP

on the oyster blush paper, i stamped using a retired PSX 'friendship'  text stamp

and I also stamped it across the legs of the prima doll stamp after colouring with my copics (available from TCP)
I fussy cut the image, and paper pieced the dress and headband.

also in the background is some texture paste spots, using a sparkly texture paste from creative expressions - also in the shop

I finished off with some gesso,
some ultramarine gilding wax (from creative expressions, stocked at TCP) and yes.. I know I wasn't using it properly ;)

and some Samaflora flowers!

hope you like her!

let's celebrate! cheshire cat style!

It's my turn to host over on the Rick St Dennis Sparkle and Glitter blog today, and I have made a little CAS 'let's celebrate' card with Rick's Cheshire cat from the zibbet store.

the card measures 5.5x 4.5 inches, and I used a sheet of Stampin up's devine aubergine cardstock to make the card blank.

the backing paper is made using faber castell gelatos, memento ink and a tim holtz grunge flourish stamp.

the cheshire at is coloured in copics -
V09,V06,V05 , BG49,BG15, BG13
RV09

and I made a sentiment banner for the bottom, with a paper smooches stamp from the birthday sample set.

this is heat embossed in pearl embossing powder, but due to the colour of the cardstock, it went silver!

May progressive challenge part one - Rick St Dennis

Hi there everyone! today is the beginning of another month, which means it is time for another instalment of the Rick St Dennis MFA progressive challenge on the sparkle and glitter EDT blog, and it is also my husband and I's fifth wedding anniversary today!

This month is 'anything goes' with a Rick St Dennis image, and if you play along with this instalment, there will be a freebie for you to play along with next month!

Today's inspiration from me is using one of Rick's 'Randi Dandi' images, CUPCAKE from the I brake for stamps store.
she is available there in both rubber and digital format, and I am using the digi for my card .

you can find her HERE

doesn't she get you in the party mood?
